The Business Studies Department offers Diploma and Certificate courses in Supply Chain Management, Human Resource Management and Information Science. The department was started in 2019 and is currently starting other courses in Business Management and Accounting and Sales Marketing.

All courses in the Business Studies department are modular based and are examined by KNEC and the department has plans to gradually transition to Competency Based Education and Training (CBET).

Public Service Commission provided Trainers prepare graduates to be market oriented and self employed. The department imparts knowledge, encourages innovation and skills to enable learners to fit into the job market. Admissions for all courses normally take place in January, May and September.
